I wonder who that poor soul is who left blog on Dec 12th. Probably their family member was "cut loose" after years of service without explanation. Can't understand how after hearing a show member and growing to expect and appreciate that voice each morning, there is NO explanation when that person is no longer there. I'm referring to OMG. Your listeners deserve an explanation. It's like a slap in the face. I'm sure your answer is "just get over it" like everything else. Some of us really depend on the show to get us thru a tuff day, or drive to work and that's why we listen. If you don't care enough to explain a BIG change in the show, I guess we won't care enough to listen to your show. It sucks now anyway.

Good morning.Just a brief comment on the lobster-zilla photo posted on 1/10/11.I had the pleasure to be with Jim Mathie aboard the Chiefy vessel when he caught this beast of a lobster.Catches like this are rare.This monster was caught near Ft. It's a shame
It's a shame when someone gives 26 years of their life to a company they have given not just devotion but heart, soul and of themselves fully ... only to be discarded... It's a shame when one gives of themself at all hours and events...someone who's many contributions, teachings and overall giving without complaint... to not only the company, but to "their" (the company), not "her"...employees as well....... especially 3 weeks before christmas...
One can only imagine the immense amount of hurt and discomfort that comes along with what must have transpired and in the manner and timing in which it was dealt out...
She probably showed great face in this disturbing event but to those that may wonder as do I, she must be full of not resentment or critisism but continued bewilderment, immense hurt, confusement and why me? ... why should someone who has an exemplary service record be thrown away...
Someone who's built relationships with vendors which brings with it unlimited value, costs, return on investments, help with profits and what she did best, control losses...losses that may have been too great for anyone else but not for her, as she was one of the best at what she did....yes, did... not does anymore...with over 26 years that is what is known as excellent execution from what some would consider a valued not devalued employee...
Where is EDDIE from National Lampoons Christmas when you need him... he'd have the president of the company at his house tied up to show him what happens to someone who feels she has just been flushed down a toilet...
I hope I don't see the company president on that UNDERCOVER BOSS Show...it would be extremely sad in it's attemp at validation...those bosses are trying to lead by example not by the executioners hatchet...I see them reward loyal company employees... this company I see, well, you see what I see in my writings..
??? What happens to a person's mental state of mind when, the manner and timing (remember it's 3 weeks to christmas), they are removed from their company is such a culture shock... ???remember her daily routine is cut off, her relationships stopped, her driving force to be the best at what she does has been manipulated down to nothing.... her mannerisms in which she now talks, different...yet her head held up high to her family
I will say it is very hard and sad sometimes for even me to envision the one truly great person in my life who has given me life, to be lying in her bed at night crying in the dark at her lonliness and I cannot do ANYTHING ABOUT IT... I can only love her as a son can...or worse, maybe thinking she did something to manipulate the actions brought against her by the company she not only worked for but actually gave her meaning to be... and just simply ....LOVED
To those she has touched in her 26 years of service... she has conveyed how much you will be missed.. I sure hope it goes both ways...

Ron is talking about parking etiquette? Are you kidding? This is the same guy that parked in a handicap spot at work because he had hurt himself. Well here's a bulletin for you newsman, handicap spots are not for people who are not handicap. They are also not for the handicapped. They are for those individuals who are handicapped and have a handicap parking permit. So even if you were handicapped, if you don't have a handicap parking permit you can't park there. You of all people shouldn't be talikig about others being inconsiderate!

The Infamous Second Question
I listen to the "You Can Win" segment of the show every morning and when you get to the infamous second question, its gets very repetitive when the contestant fails on that one answer.
Yesterday, the 50th contestant in a row lost and I think its time you guys change out the question. I heard the hint, but I don't think that most people know about Pope-advertised drinks.
I have a feeling that a huge portion of the 50 6-packs in the progressive jackpot are going to go bad and the wave runner is going to be an antique by the time someone wins (if they do).
It's a very open ended question unlike the first question. It can be anything from 7-Up to an Coca Cola to an Egg Cream (that doesn't contain cream soda BTW). I think it needs to be changed so we could have a winner.

Twice this week you guys said you were giving away 1,000 at 9am and both times gator listeners were blocked out during that time. The first time you could totally tell cause you guys would come back from comercial then cut to a song...ANOTHER intro clip then come back in midconversation. I thought it was a mistake but then you guys annouced it again and then came back from commercial and announced you gave it away. Why tell us about it??

I couldn't believe my ears this morning when Paul and Toast were discussing the bit on Grown Men Crying.First Toast referred to one of the biggest days of the year in Horse Racing,the Breeders Cup as "some sort of final".Considering,your location is right across the street from Calder Race Course.Worst yet was when I actually heard Paul say "can't they take her out back and just make some GLUE".Unbelievable Paul,so misinformed and the worst possible comment.Zenyatta, the horse Paul was referring to was racing for a purse of 3 Million.The winners of two Breeders Cup races live in your own back yard and you missed it.Shame on you boys,Toast should do his homework, and Paul, thank God you don't broadcast to CA.they would be shredding you to pieces.

Long time listener , first time complainer.
I am finished with the P&YR Show. As you guys are well aware from ratings, very few people are able to listen for more than a half hour while in there cars. I am one of them. It sucks when 20 minutes of that is commercials and music. You guys have become the Channel 7 morning news of morning radio. I try to listen on the podcast when I can. Each hour block on the podcasts are 32 - 35 minutes. Thats 25+ minutes of commercials an hour. I'm over it. It's getting worse every week. Thanks for the memories.

It has been a life long dream of mine since I was 9 and my mom took me to see PINK FLOYD concert in Tampa in 1977 for the ANIMALS TOUR. I have seen every Pink Floyd and Rodger Waters tour that have come to the states. I remember seeing my first "The Wall" concert when I was 12 and I can't tell you the effect that concert and Rodger Waters music has had on my life. Atlantis
I am a huge fan and listen "live" EVERY day. I planned for a year to make the Atlantis trip first time this year, and really looked forward to it. My girlfriend even came over from England to go with my other friend and me. She listens to podcasts from England and has become a fan. Point being, it's pretty sad when I have to return home and listen to the podcast of the Thursday night live broadcast in Atlantis, to be able to hear what was being said, when I was there, in person. There was no reason to be indoors, as it was not raining when the show started. You all knew it would be moved indoors if it rained. Why is it that the speaker system and acoustics were not taken into account when you knew it would take place in that "cavern"? It was very disappointing to all of us. I don't believe I will ever go again due to the lack of planning on your part. I would have enjoyed the show more listening at home on Friday morning. I was very curious to hear if the show apologized the following Monday morning, but it was barely mentioned, and no apologies to all that attended. How sad.

Replays
I think your replaying habits have gone way too far. You've replayed Ron's newcast from the 6am hour twice, You're replaying interviews from the day before almost everyday, and you even replayed an interview this morning that happened.... earlier this same morning!
Your show is just getting boring now. I know whenever you do a new interview, I'll be hearing it again sometime the next day. I honestly have just started listening to the podcast only and have found myself fastforwarding through most of it because of the massive amounts of replays. What made me come to this "blog" and write this was when I noticed that I heard the same newscast twice.
I've already given up on your "live" show, and pretty soon I'll be giving up on the podcasts.
I've enjoyed the previous 10 years that I've been listening and I thank you. I don't know what happened to you guys recently, but it seems like you're on your way out because of how little you have been putting into each show recently.

I cannot believe a team could be soooo flat for such a big game, it was aptly said last night during the Monday night game that a team is an extension of their Coach.... I have watched, been to games, and cannot believe this team is a Miami Team... They did not even look like they wanted to be there. Candidate Jim Lewis
I've worked in the South Florida legal community for over 20 years and I know Jim Lewis pretty well. I watched him run for Mayor and he's the genius behind Lionel Tate's failed 'wrestling defense.' (Lionel Tate at age 12 was accused of killing Tiffanyy Eunich). Jim was sued by WWF for a mil - I think they settled out of court. He loves the limelight, but he is a lightweight.
I love the idea of legalizing marijuana and I can respect Jim's persistence at running for some type of office and he's smart to grab onto the legalizing cannabis bandwagon- but I can tell you from personal experience, he exercises poor judgment and when things get tough, he disappears. He's been a criminal defense attorney in S. Fla. for over 20 years and his campaign is poorly funded...guess why. He doesn't have the goods.
Jim knows that most minor drug offenders in Fla. go through something called 'Drug Court' that allows many offenders to get out of jail by doing rehab and staying clean for a period of time.
BTW - dump OMG Mike. He's boooooorrrrring and the stunts are blah. Hey, why not have OMG run Jim's campaign???

I believe it is the bus driver, the school board, and the parents who have never taught their children to respect others, let alone those with disabilities. had the bus driver taken the interest in protecting the disabled child as he was the offenders, the father would most likely never ended up on that bus. it is the bus drivers responseability to report such behavior to the school and or school board. you go dad, he was doing what parents are suppose to do, stand up and protect their children, he was just alittle raw with it, under the influence of his anger. he didn't pull a gun and shoot anyone!!!

WTF? That has to be the funniest, yet most ridiculous, thing I have ever heard. I live in PSL now, but was born and raised in Stark Co. and, after listening to this video, am ashamed to say that! It's not surprising though..politics in that area are crazier than you can ever imagine.

Too Much Time Off!!

You guys take waaaaay too much time off. You are losing touch with your audience. As soon as I hear that it is not live, I immediately switch to another radio station. It seems that this is happening a lot lately. You moan and groan that you deserve the time off. Give me a break. You should not go out together. One stays while the other goes on vacation. WHALE RECYCLING
I'm totally what you would call a hippy environmentalist chick, and as far as I'm concerned if the whale was dead it's wonderful that he's eating it.
How many horror stories have you heard regarding disposal of whale remains washed up on beach shores? One I believe they blew the whale up with explosives, scattering gore everywhere, causing injuries to onlookers.
Hell if this guy wants to eat it, LET HIM, but make him take the whole thing. At least the whale is being used in an environmentally friendly way. Hell send some to Haiti I'm sure they'd love some free food, or any other locally starving communities.

Vacation Time
Give the guys a break! They showed up a couple of weeks ago to work Wednesday after taking Monday and Tuesday off. They needed that Thursday and Friday off. The following week - well, they needed that time to go to a convention and relax. After 20 years you might think they know how to do their job. But hey - they kinda showed up Moday - Thursday.

Playing songs after every break? Ending the show 10-15 minutes before 10 every day? You guys are getting lazy and it couldn't be more obvious. After 5 years as a PR1 I won't be listening anymore, at least until you put some effort into the show.

I listen to your show for 10-15 minutes a day, of those 10-15, they are the highlight for me. I realize you guys dont have much to talk about, but come back to the creativity you once all had. Hey Guys, I lived in Hollywood for 10 yrs. and listened to your show everyday. After moving to France with my wife and daughter 2 yrs. ago I continue to listen to you guys everyday at noon here ( we are 6 hours ahead of you in FL) so if you ever want to bet on a game Toast, just let me know and I can give you the results early. I'm writing to you because of OMG. As an English teacher here in France, teaching basic conversational English with most of my students either French Christians or French Muslims, I prepare my lesson plans according to your shows. Can you imagine how hard it is to describe Oh My God Mike to these people ?? Even though he is the low man on the totem pole and probably has the smallest totem pole, I have to say that he is a great asset to your show. His lack of humor, looks and womanizing skills makes everyone around him better radio personalities and Paul and Young Ron should be grateful to have a midget running their personal errands for them. I saw OMG at a bar once in Hollywood and asked him to stand up...when I got closer to him I realized that he was standing up. The National Anthem: Show Respect.
Good Morning. I just called your show and spoke with a gentleman who rudely laughed at the point I am making. I am fully disappointed in what I heard this morning. I will be brief. You played a version, albeit a crappy verison, of the National Anthem on air and you spoke over it. Not only did you speak over it, but you advertised some ridiclous trip to Altantis over it. Now, understandably, this version of our beloved National Anthem was certianly not the best anyone has ever heard, however, I respectfully ask that you keep your mouths shut, stand up and place your hand over your heart with your hats off during ANY version of this song. You may sing along IF you ever learned the words. If not. keep your mouth shut. This is not up for debate. Dolphins broadcast screwups
I attended the Dolphin's game saturday night, and always listen to the play by play on my portable radio. I have to say that the announcers did their usual great job, and it was great to hear Mandich again.
However your technical staff get's a F for their efforts, the 7 second delay was on for both stations (940AM & 105.9 FM) for the entire game. They would announce the beginning of a play when it was already over. Also they interrupted plays with commercials.
You are going to loose every fan at the game, and those who watch TV and listen to the radio. I would think this would be the simplest of tasks to turn off the delay, but obviously not one your engineers was listening.
Clear Channel needs to wake up!!

I don't think a 2week long vacation for everyone on the show is such a great idea for the loyal, long time listener. Why do you all have to go at the same time? Can't one person take time off, then the next etc.....? The remaining guys could keep the ball rolling. A Very long lapse in the show makes people go elsewhere for morning drive entertainment, and they may find something better. That =lost listeners. Do you all go to the bathroom at the same time too? I hope not!!

unfortunate situation
dear paul and young ron i am in bind. i need your help, i don't know what to do. ok here goes, i work in a pretty remote area, i only get four radio stations out here.one is a religious station, the next station i can't understand because i don,t speak spanish,the next is a country station and then there is you guys. for the last 11 years i have enjoyed your show,a great way to start my day off but for the last few months your show has really gone down hill,i you guys have taken more vacation time this year then i've taken in the last 25 years. i mean c'mon guys your listeners can only take so much repeats and then when you guys are on the air live you have all these music breaks. i am sorry to say yhis but i think this extremely loyal listener is going to have to move on to somewhere else the unfortunate thing for me is my selection of stations i have to choose from, i guess ican listen to the country station( country music makes my skin crawl ) or maybe i will invest in an i-pod, either way i look at i will no longer be listening to the paul and young ron show any more. so i will say this for the last time have a hectic day paul and ron

Big time Disagreement
This is relating to a show I believe last week. Paul, I was APPALLED at you putting down homeless people for taking $$$For whatever reason, they are HOMELESS. There is only a few few who take it, and drive nice cars etc. If these people choose to buy liquor then so be it. They dont have much else in their lives. As far as your statement "get a job" you try standing out there for 8 hours in the sun. Maybe its not that easy to find employment. Try it with no degree, and past work experience!!

Songs and Format
Love the show but the other posters are right, playing full length songs after the breaks is LAME. Big 105 plays classic rock all day (not to mention that anyone who is under 90 now has an ipod). It just seems like y'all are getting lazy, and by playing 6-7 four minute songs you are trying to cut a half hour out of the workday. I hate to say it but as soon as I hear a song come on I am change to another station. Sometimes I click back over, somedays I don't.

Im a loyal listerner for years PR1, but whats going on?????? it all started with doing the show till eleven and haveing the recap till noon, you guys or management cut back thats kool the longer the show i guess the less creative you get so you cut back to ten, but now you guys play song after breaks commercials are super long, whats going on the Paul and Young Ron show of the past is fading why???? you guys have given twenty great years to all these communities and i understand people could be a holes but you guys are better than this, i dont listen to any other radio show in town they all suck especially howards lil do buy bubba, im a proud and loyal listener till the end which hopefully will be for another twenty years, zeta should have stayed on the air

i listened to the show on friday with toast and i kept asking myself i wonder why i listen to this lame ass excuse of a show then i came to the realization that you guys just plain suck so i changed the station and now i listen to another station untill 10 o'clock. Your comments regarding Kelly are rude and uncalled for. I don't think there's anything "boring" about "that girl." Her name is Kelly Craig. I think she's funny (perhaps her jokes are a bit over your head), has some great comebacks at OMG, and the show needs a female presence. Not every listener is a rude 16 year old boy like you. Perhaps you would be happier listening to Y-100, or something that appeals more to teenagers. No one will miss you.
If you don't like her, you could just have said "I don't find her entertaining," and actually cited your reasons instead of saying that she's boring or sucks, or worst of all - you actually called her a "bitch." What is WRONG with you?? (other than the obvious) Whatever you mean by "Aunt Jamaima Grandma" is beyond me. Perhaps you meant Aunt Jemima, a syrup brand; but even if you managed to spell it correctly, it makes no sense.
Bottom line: Someone needs to smack some manners into you; your mother didn't, and the result is an illiterate, rude child. If you are, in fact, an adult, then you have no excuse for poor manners - just be a good boy and go find some porn (oh wait -they filter out porn at the Broward County Jail).

Just curious with the oil disaster and the slam against BP, why you air their commercials and they even sponsored a news cast today. What gives? Seems a little hypecritical. The quality of the show
I have to agree with other posters. The musical interludes really suck, Kelly Craig is a great addition to the show and she should be a full time member. OMG and the whole stunt boy thing is tired and is something that new shows with little to offer usually rely on. By now I would have expected that your show would have progressed beyond the need for a character like OMG as he is the equivalent of the person getting hit in the groin video. It's slightly funny the first time and after that it offers nothing.
So far in your big list of top 10 which this morning sounde more like top 50, you guys have missed mentioning one artist that like Tom Petty has been arround since the early 60 and has a great deal of records and numerous platinum albums, Carlos Santana. Although many people confuse the fact that he was born in Mexico, he started his music carreer in California and have expanded over all of these years and it is rumor that his coming out with a new record before the end of this year. So I proudly nominate Carlos Santana!

World Geography Lesson
Slovenia is different from Slovakia!!! Czechoslovakia split into the Czech republic and Slovakia, the latter also being part of the Wolrd Cup as well. It is not to be confused with Slovenia which is a former republic of Yugoslavia which came into existance after the war and subsequent breakup of that country.
Also, soccer is not its number one sport, as it is a predominantly "snow sport" based country as well as being a basketball country (they actually have two players in the NBA, Sasa Vujucic from the Lakers and Dragic from the Suns).

What the hell happened????
I have been a long time listener, I have been through numerous station changes with you. Unfortunatly I am about 1 week from changing the station. I think this new format sucks!!! If you are not on a 10 minute commercial you are playing a song. I thought this was a morning show. I tuned in for years to hear the two of you along with the many other wacko sidekick interns you have had over the years entertain me in the morning. If I wanted to hear music I would plug in my mp3 or put on a station that played music. Cut the crap and get back to the business of entertaining your fans. It's bad enough you bail out at 9:40ish these days don't bore me with music I can listen to anytime.

All the music now WTF, repeated interviews save that stuff for the saturday replay bring that back. On air time is about 1 hour and 30 mins, the rest of the 4 hours Its advertisements, music and replays show is going straight to the crapper. You guys have to change something, try starting at 6 not 6:10 thats a start!!!,

OMG RULES
I love the show, especially OMG. He is so hilarious. I love his dry sense of humor. I began listening to the show in January. His uneasiness with redheads and the staunch stance he took was the beginning of my admiration of his comedic prowess. Couple that with his and Webbies weird internet outtakes and you have the best morning show ever. I haven't met him in person but I am looking forward to it. I also really enjoy Toast, both his opinions and his sports reporting. Ron is hilarious too because he just doesn't give an f. And Paul you rock too for being you and creating great discussion, life experience, and acute radio talkshow skills. You need to give OMG more credit though, he is awesome. I guess you guys all need each other and your chemistry is great. Keep up the good work. Mark.

After the 7 minute lead off banter between Paul and Ron I quickly shut off the radio once the 12 minutes of ads come on. It gets no better over the course of your "4-Hour " show.

Enough with the music. If I wanted to listen to music I would listen to my I-pod or 105.9 after 10:00. The problem is that you guys have no program director. Lets face it the only reason Toast even has a job is because he is Paul's friend but the time has to come when the powers that be have to take the decision out of Paul's hands and fire Toast and hire someone who can do the job before the show suffers any more.

I was confused about the music but I thought "It's About Time!" Don't get Me Wrong, I"m OK with the show, but something other than commercials to break up the chatter is nice. Speaking of which, if a bit or song is funny enough to be played on the show in the first place, it probably doesn't need to be embellished with Mr. Castronovo's commentaryduring play. If it isn't funny on it's own why waste your effort? Rock on Ron & K elly great effort with AI this week. my favorate bit on the show. You analyzed this comment for quite a while,but did you ever consider you might have not understood the true meaning of the statement.What if it was not meant to be anti -immigration statement , but a Pro immigration statement. No latinos No tacos could mean that if there were no immigrants to do the labor and pick our crops there would be no Tacos (food). This seems to me to make more sense as a statement, but at the same time would reverse the anger of the Latin community and totally piss off the good citizens of our country, how ironic would that be. What's going on?
Guys, I have been a listener for a long time and love the show. However, last week, things didn't seem right. What was with all that music you guys kept playing? Was there programming issues or are you trying a new format when you go from bit to bit. Plus, all of the repeating of previous bits. Replaying the interview with Slash the next day and the interview with the star of the MacGruber movie later the same day.
I can't imagine you guys are running out of material, it just seemed like the timing was off last week.

PAY OMG MIKE FOR MEXICO TRIP!!!!!!!
I have been listening to the show for over a year now, due to my son turning me on to it. I used to watch The Today Show. Now no TV, I wake up to your show I could not wait til this AM to find out if OMG Mike got back from Mexico. Paul you DID make the right decision to send OMG. The Mexico bit was hysterical, and had me on the edge of my seat, as I drove from Coconut Creek to West Palm Beach. I am a RN and work in a hospital there. Today I was so relieved to hear that he got the flight back. Great pictures OMG!!!! Pay the Son of a Bitch you cheap bastards!!!!! He should be making a hell of a lot more.... Both my wife and I are big listenters... way back to the 80's and we love your show. We were at the Social on the Intercoastal last night and thought it was fun, but were VERY disapointed in Shooters! Every beer we had was warm and the service sucked. They didn't have their act together and were not ready for a true Paul and Young Ron event.

Most of the videos stay up for about a week. They are all in the left hand column. Because I only have so much room to post things, this left hand column scrolls up and down to reveal more stuff. If the week ends... I pull it due to space isues. I am, however, building a page that will archive all videos that we talk about. This page will go live in the next week or two.
I am constantly working on making sure everything we talk about is easy to find so I appreciate your comments on the site so I can improve it more and more.

I happen to love Kelly Craig in on Wednesday mornings. I don't know all what happened with NBC 6 and the news but it seemed like a lot of people left. I am sorry to get off topic. Anyway I think Kelly is great and HILARIOUS. I listen on my 20 minutes commute from Kendall to the school I work at in Homestead. So far my favorite bit was the "doctor" who was telling women to scrub thier floors when they are PMSing. I was getting as pissed as Kelly was and once she figured out it was a joke could not stop laughing. Keep up the good work Kelly!!!! And don't put up with OMG's bs.

The one thing that everybody misses when talking about marijuna laws, is in the state of florida we have workmens compenstion laws. If you should get hurt of the job, or have a accident if you drive for a living. Even you guys must be covered by some kind of workmens comp. If someone should get hurt the first thing the comp people want is a urine test. And if anything is there you get no comp money and may even be fired from your job. Its going to be hard to get a medical marijuna passed until this issue is taken care of first.

Behind the Scenes at the Sausage Fest
Like most of you, I've been a huge fan of P&YR for years. Driving to work always took me a good 40 minutes,
so knowing I would be entertained by Ying and Yang and their band of "merry douches" actually made me look forward to the ride.
Imagine my delight then, when in September Paul asked me to sit in on the show every Wednesday. It's as if the NBC peacock that had taken a huge dump on my television news career had been transformed into the bluebird of happiness. What's it like behind the scenes of South Florida's most popular radio comedy show? Three letters: OMG (and no, I'm not talking about my troll-like colleague who lives under the I-395 overpass. Not yet.)
First, even though I've been in television and radio for more years than I care to admit, I gotta tell ya, my first few times in the studio were a bit scary. Remember the first time you played tennis with someone who just blew your doors off? It was humbling as hell, yet it raised my game. Both Paul and "Ron Rancho" are so friggin' funny, you gotta bring comedic gold to the table, or they will let you die.
A slow.
Painful.
Death.
Yes, there were some eye-opening adjustments I had to make in order to fit in. The word "tolerance" is a trendy term being bandied about these days, but it really applies to my relationship with OMG Mike. I was told on the "Q.T." that the little fella didn't like me being there because "it took away HIS air-time" (Wow... and they say TV folk have big egos.) Okay, I can deal with a little professional rivalry, but imagine my surprise when this little pointy-eared elf actually threw the Christmas presents I had given him in the garbage! I had never kicked another human being in the taint before, but when the "On-Air" light went off, so were the gloves. All four feet of that slacker were about to go down. I curled my fist up and drew back my arm and spat "You're about to join my cheap gifts in that trash can you little one-balled wonder". Standing behind me was Toast, who laughed so hard at this retarded exchange, that his entire head (freckles and all), turned a bright shade of crimson. Paul's nostrils flared (as they routinely do when he's amused), and Ron took a nervous swig from Mr. Happy Flask. Oh yeah, it was about to go down. My enraged gaze then returned to Mike. My defenses weakened when he started shaking like a little palsied dog. I even spied a stream of urine running down his leg. At that moment I realized that this was all a radio "bit", and gave the kid a break. I grabbed my purse and stormed out. Once again, Mike escaped a potentially deadly situation unscathed. After many emails back and forth, Paul instructed OMG to pump the brakes when it came to dissin' me. Thank God. I wasn't about to engage in a battle of the wits with an unarmed opponent. (I actually think Mike is talented and quick at times, but don't tell him I said that. He's still a slacker who needs to straighten up).
Given this rare, coveted birdseye view I have of the chemistry between Paul and Ron, I thought I'd share the "dirty details" surrounding the show we've all come to know and love in a weekly blog entry: I'll dish the good, the bad and the fugly. Here's one more little morsel to chew on: One of the guys has to "rearrange" himself every time I walk into the room. My feminine wiles must be getting to him. Either that, or he has the world's worst case of chronic jock itch. I won't name any names, but his initials are Ron Brewer. Until next time...!

I am a Brit living in Germany, I travel frequently to the USA, work and pleasure, Miami is THE place I love the best. I listen to your show every single day, there has to be Brit blood in you guys I love sarcastic humour, in fact I just looooove sarcasm.
For the last week I have been getting this message when trying to get your station online, WTF, :

KW station Sun 99.5
I work in Key West and commute every morning from Summerland Key. Sun 99.5's reception is non existant until you get about 15 miles from Key West. This has been going on for months. You are missing out on a lot of listeners because of this. Can you put some pressure on them to get this fixed? I miss half of your 6am show because of them thanks

Show Critique
Love the show. Have been listening for about 3 years. Paul represents the everyman. Toast adds balance with his juxtoposition. (Canes v Gators). Ron contributes the oddball comedy and twilight, Shappy and Webbie bring in the young / poor prospective........OMG needs to go he offers nothing to the content, has little to no insight and seams tp perform his job half-ass....having foot in mouth disease, not a great quality for a radio jock. His 5 seconds of fame are done.

This is the first time in 20 years that I have to say I wish I wasn't listerning this morning. That interview with the Dolphin/Porpoise lover was probably the most distrubing thing I have ever heard on the radio. Thank God for the woman that called asking about the paperback. Please tell that wasn't real and that it was just a hoax. It would really help me sleep better to think it was a hoax.

Teachers vs pay
The last time I checked, (and for me it was on 21 Dec 2009) I was paid based on my prior year performance. I got a 10% raise because I achieved and surpassed my boss' expectations.
Teachers are expected to teach, and it is certainly not out of the question for a 3rd party to rate how well they teach by testing children, or some other metric.
Now some might argue that there are some political interests behind it, and that somehow the testing itself is flawed, but we can fix those things.
The idea that they need to actually do something is foreign to a lot of them, and this laziness is apparent now. They are so used to the idea of tenure and politics, and doing just enough to scrape by and teaching the test that they are freaking out!
Some might also argue that hey if you work in a crappy school or a poor neighborhood that you have less opportunity. I don't think so. See if you are a good teacher, then it doesn't matter because the kids will learn.
The only teachers worried are those that aren't very good at it. So be it, this should flesh them out.

Missing OMG......
Just gotta say....the show's a big YAWNFEST without OMG. I'm just sayin....PLEASE come back OMG. The show is so very boring without you!
It is absolutely RIDICULOUS to compare police officers to teachers. Cope are a target when they put on a uniform. Teachers don't risk dying while making a routine traffic stop. Ticket issuing is not the only function a cop does. Feel free to visit the Police Memorial in Tropical Park to find out.
Even if some of the children in lower income neighborhoods (and all neighborhoods, let's face it) don't give a damn, part of a teacher's job is to make learning fun and engaging, and MAKE them give a damn. There are teachers who teach the minimal required according to local approved lesson plans, and don't bother going any further. Whether that's a disinterest in their job, their subject matter, they simply see teaching as a 9-5 job and not the society building it's a part of, or just want to be in a position of power, I can't say. But there ARE some teachers who put in extra effort because they love their students, love the art of teaching, and want to give it their all.
Teaching, is not a normal job. Teachers are responsible for the foundations of our society. There MUST be incentives to perform well, and not just for people who can afford to send their children to private schools, like PAUL AND RON.

I don't know what happened this morning, I was ready to talk to you guys and my phone just went dead the second Paul said, "Steve from Pinecrest" - that sucked I was waiting on hold for like 10 minutes - oh well...
Anyway, I was going to say that the couple should hire an old grandma abuelita - not some hot young chick - it's too dangerous. Women know better how to protect their situation and this woman had the right idea - do not get the hot nanny. You're asking for trouble. The hot nanny may be in a relationship or may be looking to get into one with her husband. It may even start out all innocent but over time, people grow on people - office romances occur all the time. Get some old ugly woman in there and the chances of that are ... less. So that would be my advice.
By the way, I got some tickets for the Marlins game on the 18th! So thanks for that !! I'll be in the Founder's Club section ! Whoo- hoo! I think my kid will be sick that day at school. Going to be a very sick day around the tri-county area I suspect that day.

my family and friends went camping at morgan rv campground in fiesta key this past w/e my friend was offered to take two really top of the line jet skis with us. this use to be a safe place to go. one of the $11,000 jetskis were taken. the mfs that took, it be afraid they both have a chip in them so you will be found. police report made and morgan campgroung when we asked for your help at 11:45pm the guy that was guarding the front gate had to leave his post to help us so there was no secruity at the front gate what the hell are you thinking??????? morgan you charge double and you take away security you suck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paul, you claim to be a waterman, a surfer, diver, fisherman, but you don't even know the name of the main inland waterway in South Florida. Please start calling it the intracoastal as opposed to intercoastal. Just read the signs on the bridges.The two words are opposite. It would be nice if you educated your sponsors too.
Hearing you correct Ron, who obviously is clowning with his mispronunciations is so frustrating when you are so far from perfect.
Wed and thurs podcasts are messed up,missing most of 6 am on both shows. Thusdays show started at 6:50 and the 9:00 was to be large of a file to be downloaded on the RSS feed.
I have listened to EVERY podcast over a year now and have never seen them this bad. OMG is it you screwing them up ?
What happend to OMG Mike did he get arrested? Im a truck driver and wont be down until Friday the 26th I'm dying to know that was on of the funniest things I've heard in a long time.

years of the show.
Hey guy's, I've enjoyed the show for many years, born and raised in palm beach county so ive listened since the begining. Keep up the good work , you are very entertaining, and by the way paul, i know the weather has'nt been the best lately, but i did go offshore lately and bagged two wahoo, 52 and 35 lbs. thanks for show, it's great, Captain Kirk.
While him, Toast and Paul were in San Francisco for the radio show convention he got a call, his father had had a heart attack while playing golf.
He flew back right away but didn't get there in time, his dad passed away and after a few weeks he decided to stay back in Arizona to be with his mom.
It's a shame, but given the circumstances totally understandable.
There's been some mention of bringing back Jenners (I think he only said no last time until May when his adopted kid finishes college), so we might have him back, who knows...

St. Practice Day
Had a fantastic time Friday night at America's Back Yard. Although I would have enjoyed going to the 20th Anniversary Party Saturday, I feel Friday was a more intimate setting and had the chance to speak to Paul and get a photo with him. You're such a genuine, personable guy. LOVED your set with The Baker Act. Although I'm not a PR1, I'm a huge fan and can't wait to go on this year's Atlantis trip for the first time.

I have been listening to your show for about 15 years, so I'm used to the male oriented dialogue. This discussion about Mo'Nique was some of the most disgusting, chauvinistic, close minded tripe I have EVER heard on this show.
With regard to her husband, who are YOU to say what he "really" likes, or doesn't like, or what either of their motives are? Yes, you're free to have your own opinions on who is or isn't attractive, and that's fine, but don't presume that other people share those views as well. What works for YOUR marriage(s) may not suit someone else.
Regarding her leg hair, SOME black women and men (with facial hair), prefer to not shave because the kinkiness of their hair can make it very PAINFUL (which word you completely disregarded in her comment) because the curly hair grows back in on itself and becomes ingrown. On a Caucasian person, one aberrant ingrown hair is a nuisance, imagine both of your legs? Oh that's right... you guys find it hard to empathize with people.

JFK Air Traffic Controller lets kid take over
First of all let me complimentthe one who supported the violating Air Traffic Controller. You my firend were right. Therest of you ar idiots. At no time was any or passeners or aircraft in danger. Although I was not their I dont think anybody inthei right mind would just allow some 9 year old take over. Likely, based on your story, the kid was being told what say. And even if the kid did mess up, at that point it would all be reversable.
What do you think they dont train new controllers that way? If the parent had just left the 9 year old to do as he wanted like you are implying, yes the results could have been catosrphic. But that is not what happened, and the rest of the non aviation world is too stupid the know better.
You guys and the media in general have made a mountain out of a mole hill not knowing what the hell you are talking about. Yes what he did was unethical, but not at all dangerious. He had good intentions.
I am a 25 year aviation professional, I spent 13 yeas in ATC the rest as a comercial pilot. I am also an advocate on Aviation saftey. Because of the media's idiocy th FAA has to act on it In the process desrtoying a familily and a career. If you really want to aim at neglagents, try the the FAA. There is a lot there.
I know of a case where 15 plots were fired because they were complaining about being forced to work 45 streight hours with out rest and poorly maintained airplanes. he very company I am talking about turned around and sued the 15 fired employees for $55 million dollars for going t te FAA. The FAA did nothing to the company. These were outright deliberate acts. They knew they wre breaking laws. The ATC man had honorable intentions. And the media refuses to report it.
OSHA did take action, however, after they investigated, they told the fired employees "You were right, now go get an attorney and sue them." And we tax payers are paying a regulatory agency an estimated $400 million dollars year to tell whistleblowers what they already know.

What the hell is going on with unfair treatment in your sterotype Olympics. I was listening and Nick the Italian gets to try three times and you DQ the fastest time. I know Nick is your boy but I really did not think Paul as a judge and an Italian would be picking sides just because he is whop. I guess the game for the Redman means getting screwed by the whiteman. The Redman's game should have at least been shooting an arrow and not getting one through heart.

I have been listening to your show since 94.9 zeda and live in the keys. I was thrilled to find you guys on Sun 103.1 a few months ago and am a "6 o'clocker" during the week on my commute to work in marathon. For the past few days your show isn't playing on Sun 103.1 anymore...did something change? I'm a big fan and you guys keep me awake on my drive to work for the Sheriffs Office...trust me I need the laughs before I get to work and deal with the crap!! Please help if you can!!

Monitoring your kids computer use
Paul, I didn't monitor my son's usage at the age of 9 and I got a $435.00 phone bill from computer use to porn sites ( at the time I had dial up, my son is 25 now), as well as a virus that caused me to wipe the system clean which cost another $100. My son and I have always had a wonderful relationship based on trust and respect. Ron is sadly mistaken as always!

My thoughts on the Super Bowl-Paul Castronovo
So, the South Florida Super Bowl host committee and the South Florida tourism board were rooting for the New York Jets to get into the Super Bowl. Lets just let that sink in for a minute. Really? Is that really what you wanted? They had visions of all the high end, beach front hotel rooms filled to the brim, and the 5 star resaurants bustling with raucus Jet fans throwing hundred dollar bills around like confetti. But you see, that's not what was going to happen.
I am a lifelong Dolphin fan, and I have studied Jet fans for nearly 40 years and you know what? They ain't the Joe's Stone Crab type (written so the Jet fan would understand). The new W hotel on Ft. Lauderdale beach? Hardly. There aren't enough Motel Six's or Comfort Inn's in South Florida to accomodate them! You know who would benefit? That new Burger King on South Beach that serves beer (don't get me wrong, I love the idea: Whoppers and Heineken, a perfect combination).
You see, I think the tourism board that were screaming J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets! Were thinking that the Giant fans were coming to South Florida for the Super Bowl. No, that's opposite ends of the spectrum, it's about as different as a drive down Las Olas blvd. would be compared to a drive down the OBT (Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. Not familiar? Think, then 441 in Hollywood). Giant fans = class, Jet fans = fighting, multiple tazering, and legions of boozed up fans wearing too tight, retro Joe Namath jerseys adorned with fanny packs. South Florida will do just fine with Indianapolis Colt fans (although I have never, ever met one) and New Orleans Saint fans (I hate the whole "Who Dat" thing).
Payton Manning will charm us, with his Marino-esque football abilities and his witty TV likeability, and as Fin fans we can grumble as we watch Drew Brees shred the Colt defense uttering bitter phrases like, "Saban screwed us, he should have been ours!" (They would be right, by the way). The only negative is: That giant mole on the side of Brees face would friighten some school age children.
Of course I kid the Jet fans, except the one who tossed a beer that landed on my then 4 year old son outside what was then Pro Player Stadium (he paid the price). In reality, I was jealous of the fact that the Jets were in the AFC Championship game, and that they have a brash new coach and a gutsy young QB in Sanchez, but then again I wouldn't trade either of them for Coach Sparano, who I think is an incredible motivator and a coach who will win a Super Bowl or Chad Henne, who is a gunslinger, that I believe will light it up when he gets a couple of new recievers. One last thing: We beat the Jets twice this year. Just wanted to add that. Go Fins.

Jakie Mason is a jerk
That interview withJackie Mason was about as boring as watching paint dry. He probably roots for the Jets. I remember When I worked at funnys Jackie was the Comedian and the buses from Century Village were rolling in all I remember was Jackie burning the wait staff by telling the customers not to tip us because its gentile tradition to tip. He went on for about 20 minutes I remember the staff was furious and we had a second show to do still. The second was a little younger and I remember he had people walking out on him. Hoopefully this will be the last Paul and Ron Interview with him. This has been out on paperback for a Loooooooong time. ROFL - podcast trouble
Howdy guys - I'm curious why you aren't using podcasts to generate revenue? Most podcasters take the time to negotiate some advertising where they dedicate a minute or 2 to speak about a sponsor. It's somebodies job to make that happen. If you aren't on the ball about this you are seriously missing out on a big ole demographic here.
As for myself - I'm a working professional and the ONLY way I get to hear Paul and Young Ron is via podcast. I listen to the days podcast before on the next day (i.e. mondays show is listened on tuesday). I listen to all 4 hours every day that I can. You can ask my wife, I feel just like omglvr and angrypodcaster when they aren't updated. In fact "8A will be up shortly" is still there from yesterday. All of the 12 Jan show is not on iTunes yet.
It should still be somebodies job to make sure that the revenue stream happens. Oh but you aren't making money off the podcast. Why not??!! It's fairly easy to get with Any of your established advertisers, or even some of the higher profile sites, like godaddy or audible.com It would certainly help pay the bandwidth bill at the least. I feel guilty sometimes as I know I'm the target demo, but you aren't getting any ad time to me.

FYI--just a little religious information: Epiphany is on January 6 and some Eastern Orthodox worshipers celebrate Christmas on Jan. 7!!! Shame on you for being so ignorant. (funny how a menorah doesn't come down when the holiday is over and stays up until Christmas decorations are taken down in the mall).

Love the show, but you guys need to get over the Nick Saban hatered. Yeah.... GET OVER IT. We just came off a 1-15 season. Do you honestly think Nick Saban wouldn't have been shown the door with a giant foot attached if we had gone another year like that? Then where would he be? Assistant waterboy at Cleveland? When he said "I am not going to coach at Alabama" he probably had no intention of taking the job. Then they probably called him into the office and said "go ahead, take the job, really....TAKE THE JOB". After the way they showed Shula the door, there is no loyalty in football. Who cares? So he left. He is knocking on the door of a national championship and the Dolphins are much better off than they would be had he stayed. Win win. Saban did nothing to the Dolphins but help them out by leaving. So drop the anger, realize business is business, GO DOLPHINS and ROLL TIDE!!!!!

Are you sure your Italian? Xmas Lights.
In regards to your Xmas light conversation. I have neighbors down the street from me in Port St. Lucie who keep them up year round (not always lit up). This has been going on for probably more than 5 years. INCLUDING a Xmas tree which you see LIT up through the front window year round. It's kinda serial killer odd if you ask me.
That being said I thought you were Italian? In Italy the Holiday Season ends Jan. 6th 3 Kings Day The Epiphany. Remember the Romans/Italians invented Xmas. What we do here is all commercial and invented by Macy's what they do there is what has been done since the Roman empire. The Italians actually hang Santa Claus in a noose as a decoration and a old lady witch delivers the presents. She pre-dates Santa as well.

Todays best of tazer bit has to be the most difficult bit i have ever heard on the show. Its disguisting that you can have an old woman being tazed screaming in pain on the show. Ex-Con for Christmas
Listening to your show this morning and thought it was very funny. There was some question as to whether or not people go to prison for a DUI. The answer is YES. Florida will put you in prison for just about anything. I had spent 2 yrs. in a Florida prison and met a guy doing time for drunk driving on a bicycle!
The misconception is that once you do a bid you come out capable of commiting any and every type of crime. Believing that prison turns a DUI offender into a blood thirsty bank robbing sex offender is comical in itself.
It would be the equivalent of believing that once you spend a portion of your life as a radio talk show DJ you are capable of doing standup comedy. Don't get me wrong, you guys are funny but are no Larry the cable guy.

I am a regular listener to 105.9, but today's show was really distasteful. You guys were lucky I didn't have your phone number. The commedian you had on the air knows nothing about judaism! I am not a very religious person but his comments about chanuka, being a copy of christmas is rediculous! It is based on a miracle that occured in Jeruselom way be fore Christ supposedly rose from the dead. It is a celebration of "light", Life. I love a good ribbing but a jewish anti-semite is the worst. Notafloridafan obviously is happy now because the team that ranked higher than his all YEAR finally lost a game after going undefeated all season. UF has an awesome history in both football and basketball and I'm sure Paul, as I, will continue to be proud of this great learning institution. As for Tebow, it takes a REAL man to cry, a man with heart who truly felt he let his team down as QB. He'll go on to achieve amazing victories I'm sure, and you'll just look pathetic.

Ron hits new level of weird
I have been a listener for many, many years and find Ron to be one of the truley oddest people I have ever heard. Whether it be breastfeeding his own son or enjoying the comfort of a woman's housecoat, he is the epitome of strange. He set a new standard for weirdness today by disclosing his (and his son's) sleep schedule. I would love to see a compilation of Ron's self admitted loonacies. It would be hysterically funny to hear them all put together. It may also cause Ron to be Baker-acted.

UF and The 4.5 GPA
Paul is absolutely right about the average GPA for acceptance to the University of Florida. My daughter graduated from Northeast High School in Oaklnd Park with a 4.3 GPA thanks to AP classes. She was told by the admissions department at UF that 95% of all applications had a GPA of 4.3 or better, therefore they were looking at the essay portion of the application more closely for acceptance. She will graduate after 3 years, and has already been accepted into the graduate program. GO GATORS!!!!

Just wanted to say, Toast is the most unfriendly person you have ever employed, and dont even bother to bring him to future parties because he adds nothing. He avoids eye contact with most listeners, and when approached he cannot even talk. On the air, he is just short of non existant. And definately nothing to look at. Posting this video was really an invasion of OMG's privacy. I expected it was going to be a prank and was disappointed to see that it was for real. I love love love the show and listen every morning. I generally enjoy the bits with OMG, and have no problem when you guys rag on him a little for fun, but this goes WAY OVER THELINE! The girl taped this without his knowledge. Now about those 30 minute long commercial segments?? dear lord.
It's a shame when one gives of themself at all hours and events...someone who's many contributions, teachings and overall giving without complaint... to not only the company, but to "their" (the company), not "her"...employees as well....... especially 3 weeks before christmas...
One can only imagine the immense amount of hurt and discomfort that comes along with what must have transpired and in the manner and timing in which it was dealt out...
She probably showed great face in this disturbing event but to those that may wonder as do I, she must be full of not resentment or critisism but continued bewilderment, immense hurt, confusement and why me? ... why should someone who has an exemplary service record be thrown away...
Someone who's built relationships with vendors which brings with it unlimited value, costs, return on investments, help with profits and what she did best, control losses...losses that may have been too great for anyone else but not for her, as she was one of the best at what she did....yes, did... not does anymore...with over 26 years that is what is known as excellent execution from what some would consider a valued not devalued employee...
Where is EDDIE from National Lampoons Christmas when you need him... he'd have the president of the company at his house tied up to show him what happens to someone who feels she has just been flushed down a toilet...
I hope I don't see the company president on that UNDERCOVER BOSS Show...it would be extremely sad in it's attemp at validation...those bosses are trying to lead by example not by the executioners hatchet...I see them reward loyal company employees... this company I see, well, you see what I see in my writings..
??? What happens to a person's mental state of mind when, the manner and timing (remember it's 3 weeks to christmas), they are removed from their company is such a culture shock... ???remember her daily routine is cut off, her relationships stopped, her driving force to be the best at what she does has been manipulated down to nothing.... her mannerisms in which she now talks, different...yet her head held up high to her family
I will say it is very hard and sad sometimes for even me to envision the one truly great person in my life who has given me life, to be lying in her bed at night crying in the dark at her lonliness and I cannot do ANYTHING ABOUT IT... I can only love her as a son can...or worse, maybe thinking she did something to manipulate the actions brought against her by the company she not only worked for but actually gave her meaning to be... and just simply ....LOVED
To those she has touched in her 26 years of service... she has conveyed how much you will be missed.. I sure hope it goes both ways...

I listen to the "You Can Win" segment of the show every morning and when you get to the infamous second question, its gets very repetitive when the contestant fails on that one answer.
Yesterday, the 50th contestant in a row lost and I think its time you guys change out the question. I heard the hint, but I don't think that most people know about Pope-advertised drinks.
I have a feeling that a huge portion of the 50 6-packs in the progressive jackpot are going to go bad and the wave runner is going to be an antique by the time someone wins (if they do).
It's a very open ended question unlike the first question. It can be anything from 7-Up to an Coca Cola to an Egg Cream (that doesn't contain cream soda BTW). I think it needs to be changed so we could have a winner.
Can you get Rodger Water Back Stage Passes. I would be forever in your debt. If either of you happen to need a plus (+) 1, I would be more than happy to fill in. It has been a life long dream of mine since I was 9 and my mom took me to see PINK FLOYD concert in Tampa in 1977 for the ANIMALS TOUR. I have seen every Pink Floyd and Rodger Waters tour that have come to the states. I remember seeing my first "The Wall" concert when I was 12 and I can't tell you the effect that concert and Rodger Waters music has had on my life. I've already given up on your "live" show, and pretty soon I'll be giving up on the podcasts.
I've enjoyed the previous 10 years that I've been listening and I thank you. I don't know what happened to you guys recently, but it seems like you're on your way out because of how little you have been putting into each show recently.

I love the idea of legalizing marijuana and I can respect Jim's persistence at running for some type of office and he's smart to grab onto the legalizing cannabis bandwagon- but I can tell you from personal experience, he exercises poor judgment and when things get tough, he disappears. He's been a criminal defense attorney in S. Fla. for over 20 years and his campaign is poorly funded...guess why. He doesn't have the goods.
Jim knows that most minor drug offenders in Fla. go through something called 'Drug Court' that allows many offenders to get out of jail by doing rehab and staying clean for a period of time.
BTW - dump OMG Mike. He's boooooorrrrring and the stunts are blah. Hey, why not have OMG run Jim's campaign???

I lived in Hollywood for 10 yrs. and listened to your show everyday. After moving to France with my wife and daughter 2 yrs. ago I continue to listen to you guys everyday at noon here ( we are 6 hours ahead of you in FL) so if you ever want to bet on a game Toast, just let me know and I can give you the results early.
I'm writing to you because of OMG. As an English teacher here in France, teaching basic conversational English with most of my students either French Christians or French Muslims, I prepare my lesson plans according to your shows. Can you imagine how hard it is to describe Oh My God Mike to these people ?? Even though he is the low man on the totem pole and probably has the smallest totem pole, I have to say that he is a great asset to your show.
His lack of humor, looks and womanizing skills makes everyone around him better radio personalities and Paul and Young Ron should be grateful to have a midget running their personal errands for them.
I saw OMG at a bar once in Hollywood and asked him to stand up...when I got closer to him I realized that he was standing up.

You played a version, albeit a crappy verison, of the National Anthem on air and you spoke over it. Not only did you speak over it, but you advertised some ridiclous trip to Altantis over it. Now, understandably, this version of our beloved National Anthem was certianly not the best anyone has ever heard, however, I respectfully ask that you keep your mouths shut, stand up and place your hand over your heart with your hats off during ANY version of this song. You may sing along IF you ever learned the words. If not. keep your mouth shut. This is not up for debate. It is rude and disrespectful behavior and I am sick to death of people in this country being rude and disrespectful to the great land of ours.

However your technical staff get's a F for their efforts, the 7 second delay was on for both stations (940AM & 105.9 FM) for the entire game. They would announce the beginning of a play when it was already over. Also they interrupted plays with commercials.
You are going to loose every fan at the game, and those who watch TV and listen to the radio. I would think this would be the simplest of tasks to turn off the delay, but obviously not one your engineers was listening.
Clear Channel needs to wake up!!

I have been trying unsucessfully to win "YOU CAN"T WIN" with the correct answer to question #6 for the last week and you give it all away to a guy who gives you the wrong answer? Come on!!!!!! Anyway, I was going to say that the couple should hire an old grandma abuelita - not some hot young chick - it's too dangerous. Women know better how to protect their situation and this woman had the right idea - do not get the hot nanny. You're asking for trouble. employees for $55 million dollars for going t te FAA. The FAA did nothing to the company. These were outright deliberate acts. They knew they wre breaking laws. The ATC man had honorable intentions. And the media refuses to report it.
OSHA did take action, however, after they investigated, they told the fired employees "You were right, now go get an attorney and sue them." And we tax payers are paying a regulatory agency an estimated $400 million dollars year to tell whistleblowers what they already know.

I remember When I worked at funnys Jackie was the Comedian and the buses from Century Village were rolling in all I remember was Jackie burning the wait staff by telling the customers not to tip us because its gentile tradition to tip. He went on for about 20 minutes I remember the staff was furious and we had a second show to do still. The second was a little younger and I remember he had people walking out on him. As for myself - I'm a working professional and the ONLY way I get to hear Paul and Young Ron is via podcast. I listen to the days podcast before on the next day (i.e. mondays show is listened on tuesday). I listen to all 4 hours every day that I can. You can ask my wife, I feel just like omglvr and angrypodcaster when they aren't updated. In fact "8A will be up shortly" is still there from yesterday. All of the 12 Jan show is not on iTunes yet.
It should still be somebodies job to make sure that the revenue stream happens. Oh but you aren't making money off the podcast. Why not??!! It's fairly easy to get with Any of your established advertisers, or even some of the higher profile sites, like godaddy or audible.com It would certainly help pay the bandwidth bill at the least. I feel guilty sometimes as I know I'm the target demo, but you aren't getting any ad time to me.

In regards to your Xmas light conversation. I have neighbors down the street from me in Port St. Lucie who keep them up year round (not always lit up).
